Best workouts to lose weight and gain muscle ?

I am 5′10 19 years old male my weight is 240 I really want to lose weight get to 190 is my goal. But what is the best workouts to lose weight and gain muscle?
To the best of my knowledge, the combination of weight training and cardio (I.e.: walking, riding bike, jumping rope) is the best way to lose weight and gain muscle. That, along with a good clean diet and you should be well on your way.

2009 Dec 31 1start running… get to a gym. if you want to lose weight you want to keep yor heart rate up while working out.. i dont know if your familar with the weight room but when your working out dont take alot of breaks you want to sweat. eat better as well. its a combonation of a good diet and exercise that will help you slim down and gain muscle. make sure you get good sleep and get some protien in you..

2009 Dec 31 3What your asking is not possible. You have to either lose weight or gain muscle…you cant do both at the same time, kind of like asking how can you get skinny and fat at the same time.
If you lose weight you will lose muscle mass
If you gain muscle mass you will gain fat…
The best option is to lose weight first then gain muscle in that order
