I pulled a muscle in my back today or tweaked it. It is from a previous injury. I am afraid it is going to become painful as it did before. When this happens I usually take a 5mg muscle relaxer to relax the pulled muscle and it goes away.

Would this be okay if I might be pregnant?

Unless you are indeed positive you are pregnant, then there’s no reason not to take it.

Pregnant women are allowed a lot of different medicines during the first trimester. I was able to take flexeril due to my back issues (granted the dr lowered the dosage) but was able to take it without any problems.

If you are worried about it, take half but unless you know you are pregnant there’s no reason not to take it and be in pain.

I’m unsure about muscle relaxers but I was super paranoid about taking anything when TTC. Is there any way you could use a hot pack and/ or an icy hot patch to tide you over until you can ask the Dr?
If you don’t have a hot pack, then you can fill a tube sock with rice, spray with water, and microwave for 2 minutes.
    Feel better!
