Your husband did not have to have a heart attack for there to be serious heart problems (congestive heart failure due to an enlarged heart caused by hypertension has all of his symptoms). He should absolutely go to the doctor ASAP, and if it ever happens again, he should go to a hospital. His blood pressure was extremely low, to the point where it demonstrates that his heart is not pumping correctly. Don't let him be an idiot and take him to the doctor.
References :
during a heart attack, the blood pressure(BP) goes down down down until it eventually disappears. then there is cardiac arrest. your husband should be on anti-hypertensive drugs. is he taking them? does he feel like there are bricks weighing down on his heart?

if he feels like there is weight on his heart he should seriously go to the ER. i really really insist that you should see a doctor or even better go to your hospital.(hospitals have more equipment needed for emergencies, in case there is one.)

i hope my info helped (:
References :
Heart Attack? Answers please?
Im just wondering a few things about a Heart Attack.

During a heart attack, Does the blood pressure go up or does it lower?
What about the Heart rate?
When Having a heart attack, How long does it usually last. Can it just pass without taking anything?

The reason Iam asking. My Husband normally has very high blood pressure, Last night when he got out of the shower, he had very bad chest pains. They stopped him in his tracks and he fell against the wall clenching his chest. He said if his blood pressure was High he would go to the ER. When I took his blood pressure it was just 92/48 which is very low for him since its usually 140+/90-110. He was pale and sweating, very nauseated and said it felt like a hand was squeezing his heart, But within 10 minutes it had passed and he just decided to go to bed. He didnt take anything for it. He said he is feeling better this morning and refuses to go to the Dr. So Im going to try to get answers on here. He is 28 years old, EKG a few months ago just showed very fast heart rate and slight enlargement of the heart but the Echo didnt show it. Please help me out. Im so worried
Yes, Hes been on medicine for his high BP since the age of 12. Im pretty sure he is on Lopressor and he takes it 2 times a day
