What is peripheral artery disease and what are its symptoms? Dr. Arshed Quyyumi explains.
In peripheral artery disease the arteries in the legs narrow, limiting blood flow to one’s muscles. It often goes unrecognized, causing no symptoms at all – or symptoms you may think are something else, such as muscle cramps.
PAD is usually caused by atherosclerosis, the same disease process that causes heart attacks and strokes. It’s important to recognize that even mild peripheral artery disease is an important signal that atherosclerosis might be affecting vital arteries elsewhere.

I’m the tall and skinny kid in highschool. My metabolism is quite fast. I can eat as much as I want as often as I want. I’m tired of being the scrawny type. I want to gain muscle/body mass. I do work out and everything but i noticed that im only getting "toned". Is there any type of SAFE diet i can take make me "bigger" in muscle/body mass?
Of course eacy person is different, but because you can eat all you want and whenever you want does not necessarily mean it is the right stuff to gain weight on. Are you getting the right amounts of foods such as protein, carbs, etc.
When I’ve tried to gain weight, I have upped my protein levels, eat more times during the day and make sure that I knew what my maximum calorie intake was for maintaining my weight. Once I knew that, I could pack on an extra 500-1000 calories. When you work out a lot, especially with weights, you need a lot of calories to bulk up.
If none of that works for you, you may want to go to a sports doctor, nutritionist to see if they can help. Perhaps your metabolism is off or too high. There are lots of things that can intermix with this. Thyroid glands and such can have an affect on how you gain or lose weight.
It had beautiful plumage but I am worried it may muscle up to the bars of the cage and fly away if it starts pining for the fjords.

If it does muscle up to the bars, I’d go back to the pet shop and ‘register a complaint’
Be careful because I’ve heard they are easily stunned. They like sleeping on their back too.
